blog-surfing

I have wireless at home for the moment, so am wasting my time on the internet. It's sort of fascinating to click on the "next blog" button on the upper-right corner of a person's blog. You just careen among a whole lot of bloggers who realize that very few people actually care about what they are writing, but continue writing anyway. Sometimes it's in a foreign language. Sometimes it's a girl who's just trying to be the kind of person God wants her to be. Sometimes it's a democrat in Mississippi. Sometimes it's an Anteater freshman who keeps hoping there's some secret pit of cool in Irvine (and he writes (bad) poetry, but don't tell him I said that if he shows up in your poetry class (his name's Spencer Seward and he's an English major)). I vaguely recommend it.

I'm thinking about Starbucks. They pay well and have benefits. And they'll never go out of business. I miss the smell of coffee in my hair.
